Wossner Pistons Joins as Sponsor of A All Animal Control Racing for 2014 Season!

A All Animal Control Racing is excited to announce that Wossner Pistons has joined as a sponsor for our 2014 race season at The Ohio Mile! Wossner Pistons provides the Nitrous Pistons in our motors that will help us reach the goal of 235mph in the Standing Mile and to continue the chase to be the Fastest Nitrous Powered Motorcycle in the Standing Mile.

 

In 2005 Wossner Pistons entered in to the North American piston market by opening up Wossner USA, Wossner Pistons started by renting a logistics warehouse from one of its valued customers/distributors and then went on to set up various specialized distributors throughout America as well as their own warehouse/offices in Huntington Beach CA. This will allow Wossner Pistons to service customers all over the world outside of Europe with quicker delivery and a broader range of Wossner pistons, rods and gaskets.

In 2010 Wossner has started manufacturing forged rods for the most popular 2&4 stroke off-road bikes and 4-wheelers, this is complimented by our own line of top-end gasket kits.

Wossner Pistons has a unique advantage over other forged piston companies, in 2009 Wossner has acquired an in house forging facility FGM (Forging Group Monale) in Italy. The quality of a forged piston begins with the precision of the forging and the quality of the raw materials. Wossner Pistons utilizes both 4032 and 2618 Aluminum alloys for our pistons as well as 4340 steel alloy for our rods.
   
When Wossner Pistons designs a new forging, rod, piston we must first design the component to fit the requirement of the engine, usage and customers requirements. After the new component is designed we must test it in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) computer simulation. This enables Wossner to test the part to see if any design changes need to be made prior to sending components to the customer's. When we supply a new part we can be confident it will work for the customer's specific application reducing the R&D time significantly.

Wossner Pistons has the most up-to-date CNC manufacturing centers and has short manufacturing times for prototypes, this allows Wossner to be first to market in most cases and insures a high quality part every time with repeatable performance and quality.

A All Animal Control Sponsored Rider Captures Two Land Speed Records!

The Ending to a Successful 2013 Race Season

This weekend we completed the 2013 race season with great results. We brought home two more records which brings us to six for the year. The weather in Wilmington was great and the attendance was high, so every run had to count. Saturday we managed to get two runs in, one being a new record. Sunday brought a pretty good headwind which brought the speeds down, but we managed to bring home another record anyway.

 

We were also able to bring home the track championship at Kanawha Valley Dragway for 2013 as well. Overall we are very pleased with the 2013 season, 6 new land speed records, became a lifetime member of the ECTA 200mph club on a rookie year and another track championship.

 

 

On a personal note, this was also my son’s first race event he has attended. Got to get them started young!
